Privanova at the UNODC Event: Constructive Dialogue on Technical Assistance and International Cooperation 2024

On June 7th, Privanova proudly participated in the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) event titled “Constructive Dialogue on Technical Assistance and International Cooperation 2024.” This prestigious event brought together representatives from 193 UN member countries and other key stakeholders to discuss pressing global issues and the role of technology in addressing them.

The event aims to facilitate open discussions on technical assistance and international cooperation in the realm of criminal justice and crime prevention. By bringing together a diverse array of participants, including representatives from UN member countries, NGOs, and other organizations, the event seeks to address the challenges and opportunities presented by the evolving landscape of global crime. This year’s dialogue focused particularly on the impact of technology on international cooperation in criminal matters, exploring ways to enhance capacity-building efforts and improve collaborative frameworks.

Spotlight on the CYBERSPACE Project

During his presentation, Farhan Sahito shed light on the CYBERSPACE project, emphasising the critical role that innovative technologies play in enhancing global security and how CYBERSPACE is leveraging these advancements to create a safer digital environment. 

In addition to CYBERSPACE, Farhan also presented the TRACE and POLIIICE projects. TRACE focuses on tracking and mitigating illicit activities through sophisticated tracking technologies, while POLIIICE enhances law enforcement capabilities with advanced solutions for better data sharing and coordinated efforts.
